The five oceans 🌊

Most of Earth is water β€” about 71%. All that water is one giant pool, but we split it into five named oceans:

🌊 Pacific β€” the biggest, between Asia and America. Vietnam touches it.
🌊 Atlantic β€” between America and Europe/Africa. The one with the Titanic.
🌊 Indian β€” between Africa, Asia and Australia. Warm.
🌊 Arctic β€” at the top of the world. Always frozen.
🌊 Southern β€” around Antarctica. Coldest of all.

The Big Idea

You live on a ball πŸͺ

Earth is a ball. Maps stretch the ball flat onto a piece of paper, which is why some places (like Antarctica) look way too big. The real shapes are best seen on a globe.

You've already been to three continents β€” Asia (home), Europe (Spain, France, Germany…), and Australia. Four to go!
